Recover on DELL ...

I think Dell computers ship with an image located on out-of-the-way tracks on your disk, accessible through a program called ZZ.EXE or something like it. It will restore your system to the factory shipping condition. You'll need talk to their tech people to find and run this program.

Needless to say, this program won't work if the image has been overwritten by a defrag, partition adjustment, or data sufficient to fill your disk.

Also, would the factory shipped condition be a step forward for you, or a step backward?

Cheers, PW.
