I tend to disagree companies want to do this now, even though a large part of me wants to agree. The reason is that by the time the pipeline is built the shortage will pretty well be over and NG prices will have settled into a new "normal" range. It is a phenomenal expense which might be difficult to justify based on NG prices in a few years.

I agree the pipeline WILL eventually be needed but, until the Alliance Pipeline capacity has been accommadated by new Canadian production, I don't think anyone will build another one.
