Bet you are wrong. It won't be everything he asked for, not by a landslide. But he will get a tax cut. The economy needs it, the Republicans want it and it will happen, Dem's kicking and screaming all the way.

a while to implement and thus will not
immediately affect the economy.

Let's talk about Fed rate cuts.

If energy, health and labor-pool markets remain tight

how much and
how soon of a rate cut do we need?
And will that be enough to pull us out?

In Japan rates are 0.25% and they are still stuck in the mud,
