Keith, the high premium just means high volatility.....not necessarily up or down trend.

I am doing much the same thing you are with a portion of my portfolio, but keep a sell stop on the stock (mental or otherwise), in case we get "the big dump". This may leave you with naked calls so be sure you are cleared to sell naked calls before you do this if you use actual stops.

Good Morning to all hope all had a good holiday and looking forward to a better New Year Is there any opinion this AM on GLW it sure is stuck in a complete down mode Did I miss a news item which is causing alot of selling on this one it is one of my largest holdings along with Jdsu which seems to be ding better this am any thoughts? Thanks George Schulte
