Larry, you missed the point! If a bear market can go along for 80-90% of its life before anyone recognizes we have been in a bear market....how long do you think it will be from the point we move from bear to bull before anyone recognizes that the bear is over! My past recollection is that it takes quite a long time. Everyone will be talking about the rally in a bear market and better be careful...when in fact we are in a bull market. What works in either a bear or bull market, this time of year is that we should see a very good bounce into Spring. So talking about exiting positions around January 5th, is built around the bear market premise and not around what works this time of year. Sorry for the rambling.
