Guess I should have clarified that I wasn't referring to BKP specifically. It was a general comment on the trend in merger/acquisition targets. IMHO the managements of most producers will not be interested in being bought out in this environment. I looked at BKP a few weeks ago. Passed at the time but it showed a lot of promise. I especially liked their East Lost Hills play but was disturbed as to why analysts had not figured it in when calculating 2001 earnings.
