Are you gilding the lilly, did you put the touch on Unc again, or are you trading your parent's account?

I made $250K in AMD calls in the spring. Got out of AMD with about half of that and switched to the short side, which I've been playing ever since. No need to say where I'm at now.

I'm short 900 Crisco now.

You brought this up so I have to defend myself, otherwise I wouldn't be talking numbers. I sometimes speak vaguely of what I have, but I think everyone is best off if they just keep it to themselves. If you think I'm full of shit, start at the AMD thread the day I joined and look at what I bought and the historical prices. I also posted when I got out. Had a bad stretch then for about two months. I've been on a tear lately, almost everything going my way. It's all hear on SI if you have the time to read through all 3700 posts I've made. I could care less.

Perhaps IBG's data is wrong; he never explained how he got it.

it is a she and my data is correct. i was just tracking the trades. i do not follow every post on this thread and did not see the originating post implying that the porch fund would be paper trades only.

actually running a time/sales filter for the 8k paper trade sale of rmbs for 40 1/2 reveals even a paper trade could not have occurred at that price. the 200 shares that did trade were at the prevailing ask. the best bid for those rmbs shares during that time frame of the trade was called would have been 40 3/8.

i was just trying to follow what i thought were real time trades. if i had known they were fake trades i would not have posted. i am not interested in following someone's fake trades. i believe most of what i read on si is just "bs" (fake trades). i am not part of the clown thread group. no harm intended on my part. :)

But as long as we're questioning V's veracity, I have a little problem with a comment you made recently.

>> I may be short 700 shares of Crisco now...

From your own posts and profile, you are 23 years old, just graduated from college this year, and began investing with a few thousand bucks that your uncle gifted you so you could learn about the market. Shorting 700 shares of csco requires margin in the range of $28,000. Even if you got a good job, I doubt you could have saved that much in 6 months. Are you gilding the lilly, did you put the touch on Unc again, or are you trading your parent's account?
