wasn't considering a stock purchase here -- just commenting on the FERC being very dumb to set the temporay cap on energy prices so low -- $150/MWh --- why would anyone want to continue trading on the exchange -- even if other xchanges didn't exist -- I'm sure it would encourage the rapid development of bilateral contracts outside the exchange ... all I'm saying is I agree with the article -- such agressive caps won't work

they are squeezed on both ends -- ratemaking process that doesn't allow for the market reality and sales of excess energy capped -- worst of both worlds
