HJ, it sounds like a sucker trap to me... most option traders are delta neutral spreaders with their net exposure long/short vs put/calls equal to zero.

In other words, that position offsets a longer term short strategy or a shorter term put position.

Thanks for bringing that up, i'll look into it further.

One more ajustment for the portfolio today:

Sold half QCOM at 89 and bought PALM at 28. I've tried to
buy back PALM shares for a long time since Sept:)

Also, sold NT at 31 and bought JDSU at 43. This is mainly
for the tax reasons to compensate the gain from NOK and
QCOM.

Portfolio has 11 stocks now, and down 10%.
