I just hope that AG doesn't lower rates (or do repos) too aggressively in such a way that causes the pendulum to swing wildly again in the bullish direction. (though I certainly want the market to get back into a bullish trend). """

Digital Broadband Communications declared Chapter 11 this morning. It owes about $70M to Cisco alone. The cockroach theory usually works so there might be more "Digital Broadband" stories coming out. On the other hand, what could CSCO do differently when NT and LU were all eager to finance shitty ISP's?

Regarding interest rate, the strong housing market will prevent big rate cut. We are lucky if he cuts by 0.25% in January. The stock market will be really pissed if he doesn't cut rate at all, simply because he wants to show Bush who's the boss.
