The TA may not be so OT. There was once a thriving thread on SI called The Rational Analyst where investors\analysts from multiple investment disciplines combined to look at stocks from the business case, FA, macroeconomics & TA at the same time. If you are trying to accumulate a position in a biotech with the aid of volitility, then recognizing overbought & oversold conditions, support & resistance are usefull tools. Clinical effectivenes, market potential, agreement terms, FA, management effectiveness, regulatory climate are all discussed here. Occasional TA would surely be less off-topic then political discussions, would it not? IMSCO Scott
