I used to short, but that was when I was younger. These days when I'm not comfortable with an investment I move to cash. That is what I've done with QCOM. I've got concerns about China and how fast W-CDMA will roll out. Also whether Spinco will produce chips for W-CDMA that anyone will use. I'm awaiting developments. May have to wait until Irwin's 1st Q conference call before I hear enough to put my money back in.

Only expecting a balanced coverage, that's all.

I do appreciate your calling things as they are, but the same cannot be said about some others.

[I suppose it's almost an "universal" practice on SI to talk down your favorite stock in order to gain a good entry point.]
