Hi Tom I bought several funds back in the 1980's in an attempt to hedge my other investments. They are a very good way to make a safe investment with long term growth prospects. When I became a self directed investor I more or less have made my own mutual fund which is made up or about 10 different high quality companies. We'll call it the Vendit growth fund. :-) The smiley is because Im sure this will come as a surprise to some on this thread but most of the companies in my mix are not tech stocks.
