Jochen, to your evidence about nasdaq stocks that have risen, I would also add the point that the fall in the stock price is unimportant in itself. What I do think is important is the financial statements - horrible revenue and horrible earnings.

MSFT shares have dropped, but the company has not exhibited the "Honey I shrunk the company" syndrome that we see in EXLN. That is the shocking thing.

Just goes to show, even in the worst of markets there are always some stocks that rise. Funny thing is there was a stock in there that I used to own years ago, NOVN.....I got tired of waiting for it....maybe there is a lesson there.
