NucTrader,

re

but at worse it's neutral and at best bullish?

Now, I am not by any means accomplished with dealing with these technical indicators. I'll have a bash though, read any other comments posted.

Yes, I believe you are referring to the NYSE TRIN. It's reading 0.88, which is les then one, which is bullish/neutral.

As Heinz earlier pointed out the 4 day TRIN is returning to a bullish area.

Looking at the comments in this link provided by homer earlier about divergence

stockcharts.com

When I look at the 10, 21, 55 DMA TRIN on the Wilshire 5k I see a negative divergence to the high side (down the reversed axis graph). And sure enough the index has been going down considerably. edit...i.e in the "oversold area" but my view is market conditions aren't necessarily normal.

btw I use Decision.com investment site, and consider the data well worth the $5 per month or whatever.

So short term bull, longer term bear, and Greenspan can jump in at any moment -g-

pearly.

You need ^STI.O for Nasdaq. Likely still need one or more rally days still for top...
