I am holding off on APWR until I hear what Douglas Fant has to say about the breakthrough solar achievements coming out of the Texas firm. It's been more than two weeks Doug...any news??

How is FCEL nada compared to APWR? I admit a fondness for APWR as I lucked out with a triple this year. However I want to know the competition from the Texas firm before I jump in again. Barring a significant advancement I like APWR at 20.

However it seems like a natural gas fuel cell would play right into the California energy crisis. LADWP (Los Angeles Department of Water and Power) is raking in the bucks as opposed to the private utilities. They have purchased one FCEL NG cell...I don't know the completion date but my guess is they will buy more with their California Crisis dollars.

I have been rather surprised how well FCEL has held up since the election and the tech wreck. I believe it is due to the strength of their technology. I am not buying at this price and also because I am overweighted...have at least three positions based on the definitions of positions on this board:)

Long on Energy..XOM BP APA BR NE FLC BHI OII PKD GLBL TESOF SKE XTO FCEL
