"3. The larger screen size of an average TV could be useful for streaming video applications (assuming that bandwidth is sufficient)."

But you would be opening up the Panadora's Box. This may turn the traditional TV model upside down overnight. I can't see the MSOs taking the risk.

"It's one of the reasons why I'm optimistic on ACTV's potential going forward."

Eric- Isn't ACTV Inc trying to attack the TV market in the wrong way? Seems to me they are hoping the MSO opt for the Pandora's Box solution, aren't they? In other words, a cable TV sub has access to millions of channels delivered over the Internet.

I recall looking at IATV about a year(maybe less) ago, and came away thinking their business model was not feasible because they expected the MSO to open up their pipes to the TV set for anyone to deliver content on. Did I mis-read this? I could even be confusing it with another i-TV player. It's all pretty confusing to me.

Maybe you can give us a quick overview of IATV. I'm having trouble cutting through their PR fluff. -MikeM(From Florida)
