Mucho nacho, As I've said for years now, when the economic realities are not what corporations and the govt. want, they simply change the way they calculate them to make them look better. I don't really see why goodwill should be a killer of eps every time, but I find it suspicious that eliminating its impact is being considered at the very time many cos. with a lot of goodwill to amortize are hitting the wall. You don't think they are trying to show that these croaking firms are really growing by giving us uncomparable numbers? Nah, those good ole boys wouldn't do that. Again. <VBG>
