Hi Jim,

Perhaps being well-informed is helpful to one's investment strategy: sometimes, it's hard to tell.
Alas, le plus c'est change...... As it always was, the only advantage being well-informed brings, is if the rest of the crowd is less well informed. Along those lines, I was intrigued recently by a master's thesis written at the U. of Chicago on sound as an investment harbinger. As in, correlating dB levels at the CBOE with impending "news". We are, more or less, a community of starlings, or magpies, or maybe startling magpies when it comes to investing....at any rate the starlings in the options pits are perhaps no better informed than we, just more promptly so, and therein lies all the difference..... la plus la meme chose...
