I did read your Orwellian pastiche and what you wrote is correct. Conspiracies come and go, secret societies rise and fall and monkeys will always eat bananas. It is the way of the world.

"EU will morph with Russia" That possibly will save Europe, the Russians are excellent taskmasters. Strange they can't rescue a crippled sub but can float a brand new nuclear one this week. Some things never change and one of them is eternal Russia.

Gustav, I didn't read your Orwellian pastiche, as you put it, but your comment about the EU morphing with Russia prompts the observation that this may be the case economically and culturally, but for Russia to accept the prospect of a gradual merge with the EU and becoming indistinguishable from a region that is culturally, economically AND politically aligned with the US would be political suicide for itself--when in fact all signs point to greater alliance between China and Russia for the sake of countering US global political dominance.
