If a significant proportion of those 190 million shares hit the market, it will add a lot of downward pressure. But that doesn't mean they will. I'd like to know who is holding those shares. Probably, they are smart enough to realize that if they are going to unload them, it must be done carefully.

Shares which come out of lockup don't always have much of an effect. AVNX, I believe, had about 60 million shares come out of lockup last Spring, and that hardly made a dent in the stock price at the time. But 190 million shares of JNPR is certainly nothing to blow off, and I wouldn't want to be long JNPR. Tomorrow should be interesting.

Again, that just adds one more thing making JNPR a better short than BRCD.
