Indeed yes, because as we now see people who are afraid of the truth will avoid it like the plague to fashion a prettier lie.

I am a conservative, as conservative as they come. But I will not try to avoid the truth. I love the south, own several hundreds of acres in many southern states, enjoy the southern people. But I know the Confederacy was dead wrong, and I find supporting it with public funds a repugnant thing.
