Damn that SF Bay water looks wicked and especially the tides.

You got that right! When I was 18 I was out sailing with some friends, and got caught in a storm in the slot. A mini perfect storm. <g>

The slot is the straight line from the ocean, under the gate all the way to the other side of the bay. Its always the roughest, and several times a year, it gets real bad and takes a few souls with it.

Freezing cold too......

Were takin the boat down there at the end of January. A sturgeon tournament........talk about big nasty fish......

See...ya got me goin.....I could talk about this stuff forever......<g>
