Hal- Thanks for the article. For those that don't have DTV, it sums it up fairly accurately. IMO, cable DTV is hurting the DBS players.

Don't confuse Digital TV with Digital TV set. They are unrelated. And don't confuse Digital TV with HDTV. Again they are not related. And to make matters slightly more confusing, you have digitally created content, and analog content that is digitized.

And to really add confusion, half of those Digital Channels are still being broadcast in analog format. This is because both will have to be broadcast until all the boxes are converted to digital. Once all STBs are digital, then the MSO can stop the analog broadcast. Freeing up a lot of spectrum for other services.

If you think the above is confusing, it's nothing compared to what the Interactive-TV landscape currently looks like. -MikeM(From Florida)
