re: PDAs - One example I know of is at a hospital where drs now carry PDAs around to get lab results. It used to be that they had to go back to the patients room to read the chart, now they can get it from anywhere, off their intranet (its a big hospital). It is in new apps, doing things that just we're possible before, that we would hope to see drive, or at least assist the market.

The problem is if we do have a bear market most will swear off trading and markets. If PDA's are just for checking stocks they will be limited in their scope. I am not saying there isnt a market for them, just like the Internet does have its uses. However just think its overhyped for consumer's. The numbers of Cell phone users surfing is minute. I think it will take time for Killer APPS like GPS to make them more appealing.

Is your Verizon access of Etrade free or are the minutes counted towards your allowance per month?

Can you get continuous RT quotes on a few stocks that you select?
