I had the same reaction -- I'll bet his ability to deal with it is better than (at least mine) is. That speaks lots about his strength and my weakness. Lord, give this young man continued strength to deal with his affliction. Give him friends that see HIM. Give him something to smile about each day and send someone who will tell him of Your love, and make him willing to listen. I ask In Your Name, that he come to believe in Your Love and that he ask You to be the center of his life. I thank You for health that You have given us and for the GREAT gift of Your Love for each of us. Be with ones we have spoken to You about this last year - heal their health problems, have Your will in their lives and help each of us to be always mindful of the many blessings You give us every day. Be with each of our families and I ask that Amos, Zeb, Markie and Sammie each come to a saving knowledge of You. Give gramma and me the understanding to know what Your will is, and to do that will.
