Do a keyword search on Rehnquist on this thread and you'll find the story that ran in the Pittsburgh newspaper concerning Rehnquist's tactics as a young man to challenge Arizona voters at the polling place. This is the same man who helped decide the presidency a few weeks ago.

Very sad.

Republicans get all caught up in this "proof of citizenship" deal. They ought to be focusing more on increasing the vote nationwide, not restricting the vote.

I suspect technology exists today that would allay GOP fears ... fingerprint scans, eyeball scans ... wouldn't have to mess with citizenship papers, birth certificates, proof of residence, etc.

Solutions to this voting mess are a lot simpler than many political hack secretaries of state (individual states) would have us believe.
