There is only one more day of Tax loss selling left in the year. This is something new to me so I will like to find out something from all you experts (well hopefully not too experts because we are long term gorilla gamers). My question is at what point does selling a stock at a loss make sense for balancing capital gains. For example does it make sense to sell a king or a gorilla at a loss to cover some short term gains for the year even though you think it is going to go back sooner than the 30 day re-purchase limit. Thanks in advance for your input.

Happy New Year Everyone . . .if all works out I will be in Time Square NY City see the ball drop, so look for a Gorilla Gamer : )
