I suggest a retreat back to the original borders, to comply with the UN resolution. Then they have the moral highground to use their superior military power to cut short any attempts to drive them into the sea. Due to a minority of arabs having these extreme views, and mistakenly thinking anti-west terrorism would help their cause, the west, especially the US, seems to view all arabs as wanting to see the death of every last israeli. This is simply not true. If an African said "u know, I have seen a few white guys treating blacks as inferior, they are evil these whites and we will never be able to co-exist" what would you think. That is how many westerners view the arabs.

Now there is a change in the way the middle east is being reported to and perceived by the west, and a general feeling that the israelis have no concern for the lives of palestinian children is developing.
