Neil,, Like your picks. A couple of market trends to note:

1. Dow has worst year since 1981
2. Nas worst year EVER
3. Market is always a Bull market with Bear corrections from time to time
4. Market had very good 3 year run-up until this year and now around 20yr moving average trend line
5. Interest rates should start to come down and help the economy/Stock market
6. The stock market is a LEADING indicator of economic growth.
7. M2 money supply, another leading indicator of economy (and market or about the same) is just below 6yr moving average. This would usually indicate poor market to continue and economy to follow.

Now my question is....Did the market over react this year so that the coming economical slowing is already priced into current prices ? ..and will the FED be aggressive enough to lower rates for a soft landing ?

Regardless of the answer to those questions...Things are looking positive for the market at least for the mid term and long term here. 2 out of 3 ain't bad..;)

Hopefully Greenie helps manufacture soft landing which will mean we have oversold condition and positive outlook short term.
