I see Warren B is buying junk ... this seems screwy given where we are at in the cycle, doesn't it?

Do you steer clear of junk bonds altogether or is there a time in the future that you would consider buying selectively? Interested in your perspective -- since you are the "income" guru ...

TIA

Not to try to improve on your idea but I began to wonder how to make a Sloe Screw. As I was at the liquor store I found some Sloe Gin, which turns out to be more like grenadine syrup than anything else. Cracked the bottle in a friend's pottery and we shared an envelope-pushing experience by trying the sloe gin.

Anyhow, I think figure if you took about an ounce of sloe gin, added two ounces of vodka and filled the glass with orange juice you would have yourself a Sloe Screw.

Now have you ever heard of a Pile Driver? Three parts gin, one part Preparation H.

Didn't mean to shut off the thread with a Sloe Screw.

Look at the Euro!:

The Merrill warrants are selling for only about $1.50 more than their intrinsic value at this moment, but I have reached my prudent limit and am not going to buy any more, which I may regret.
