Agree with everything you say Volts.....my point simply was that with a smaller amount of dollars, it is much tougher to suceed in daytrading as you are because you need larger point gains to offset the smaller share lot you are trading. If you have 4000 shares and can scalp a measly 1/4 point, you made $1000.00....or 1/2 point and you make $2000.....lets say you scalp a full point and make $4000.00

Well, if you were trading a couple hundred shares, instead of a large lot, you couldn't get by with sca;ping 1/4 points and half points....you would lose on commissions alone.

Anyway, no biggie....I understand everything you said, but again, my point was simply that you could not do what you are doing right now with $5k, as you are with $100k.....alot of your trades are getting you a half point here and there, which is great when you have thousands and thousands of shares....but if you only had 200 NEWP, you could not trade and scalp 1/2 point here and there and make anything, as it would all go to commissions...you would need larger moves in order to effectively make any money, versus, needing only 1/4 point to make money with a large lot of shares.

Again....no biggie........enjoy and have a great new year
