Could be. I think optics and access network needed to provide
broadband directly to customers are primary target of capex.
However we'll see few big winners and few big losers like Lucent.
Some analysts.... were pointing out that WCOM capex will go down from 9.5 B to 8.5B. However they forgot to say that majority of 1B in cuts come form circuit-switched technology and the rest is unchanged(optics, FR, IP/AT etc.)
Could be that specific analysts (P. Sagawa) is still keeping
dark glasses of its former employer Lucent.
