>> I have been less than thrilled with the market

Well I've had a significant recovery in my portfolio this week. So I'm pleased. Actually this is exactly the kind of market I like. Which is a trading market. What I really hate is the uni-directional trend. If it is down, one is frozen like a deer in the headlites. If it is up, then once I sell, I can't get back in. The up/down stuff is what I like. And I think we'll continue to have that at least until the first batch of earnings. The maybe a trend will take over again.

A few of the stocks I'm trading lately are Cabletron, C-Cube, Atmel, Novellus and Exodus. But Intel, LSI and SanDisk have been a one-way disaster.

If you don't mind saying, what kind of results have you had in your trading portfolio this year ? You had a major good call in Sept. But were you able to take advantage of it ?
