Thanks Charley, The Colville tribe is very closely associated with the Spokane people in northeastern Washington... Sort of like the Nez Perce, Chief Joseph was their best known leader, one of my all time heroes btw.. The Inland Empire people of the northwest.. Oh, I hope I am right.. saying this. I believe it so.......... The movie "Smoke Signals", depicts, not necesarrily correctly these native people. Not necessarily true but a good film.. A Sundance film festival winner. Written, for sure, directed maybe, by a fellow Coug, whose name I am embarrassed to say I forgot.. But there are so many talented people that come out of the wheat fields, it is not surprising, sort of like the praires.. Loneliness breeds good and clear thinking.. It is where I grew up.. m
