Who will be our leaders for the next run?

Good question. But ask yourself a question. What is everyone wanting right now? What will they want 1 year from now? 2 years from now? 5 years from now?

And, how long will these bellweathers of yesterday drag on the markets, or will they come back?

Yes, they will come back, IMO. People tend to hate these stocks, as they did back in late 1998 (also the same time the Fed started cutting rates), only to fall in love with them again as the good times returned.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that although there will be new leaders here and there, don't forget the big boys (CSCO, MSFT, INTC, SUNW, ORCL). All have strong management and that is the key to any company.

Good luck and Happy New Year to all

JR
