Hard to say what Howard Roark or John Galt - or Ayn Rand - would have thought about the Fed's monetary policies. As capitalists, they would have liked lots of available capital, but I doubt they would have liked the resulting malinvestments.

Still, in a free market, malinvestments happen. But they don't perpetuate.
