Uncle,

Thanks for your response. I have been following OPWV for a while now. With the Wap technology, it seems that they are the only real player in the provider side of the equation. They have major contracts in all geographic regions of the world to provide internet access via wireless devices. The question to me is how much growth will the wireless internet see in the future? If there is sufficient growth, then OPWV will be the provider of access to the majority of telecom companies. Some have claimed that the wireless side of the internet will be the dominating factor in the growth of the internet and therefore will be the future of it. How much of that is true remains to be seen. The consumers will dictate the growth factor based upon use and fees. The nice thing to know is that regardless of how much telecom companies charge for this service, OPWV will receive it's share. Whether it PCS of WCOM or AWE providing the service, OPWV will be the one behind the scenes. That is my opinion. OPWV is heading towards profitability. Next qtr earnings should give us better idea on the revenue and earnings growth factor. Last qtr revenues were up 109% sequentially as far as I can remember. This qtr with merger (swcm) let's see what they have to report.

Regards,
Gold

UW,

Pretty cool of Echelon to have a demo living room in which I can control three devices through the internet: lamp, wall lamp, and window shade.

Live video camera provides me with visual feedback on what is happening as I click buttons to dim the lamps, move the shades, etc. from my computer in Hong Kong.

Give it a try:
