Bush was elected President under the rule of law
Ha Ha, rule of Scalia was more like it.

It will all come out in the impeachment hearings.

And Clarence Thomas is far from a "dummy" and "devoid of thought".
Your post inspired me to do some research on Thomas. Impressive man. He just doesn't know what "You can't do it!" means.

In the process, I stumbled onto this:
businessphilosophy.com
It seems that a significant fraction of blacks never bought into or are breaking free of the demolib programming.

I guess that Judge Thomas already knew which way he was going to vote without having to hear any arguments. After all, 'Daddy Bush' hired him! What a disgusting disgrace to his race. What a joke! He gets to go to Yale ONLY through
Affirmitive Action and then he votes to not count all the votes.

So your saying....since he was afforded an opportunity by affirmitive action to go to yale he shouldn't be able to have an opinion other than the one you want him to have? I think it is good that african americans can and should envolve themselves in ALL elements of our government. We are not single minded people and we are intelligent and have differing opinions among ourselves (just like white americans). And everytime one of us expresses and\or acts on those INDIVIDUAL OPINIONS.....we are using that freedom which we fought and earned. Anytime one of us GAINS a high
office it shows that we are able to rise to worldly challanges. It's when we don't is when we become the single minded herd animal that some people think we are. We are able to see the good for all the country not just to a certain segment. Which is what you seem to want of Judge Thomas. His office demands that he have this scope! If he only ruled on black issues he would not be of much use in the supreme court!. To date we have seen a blackman seriously considered for the presidency that has such a scope and thats Colin Powell but you probably don't have any respect for him either since his opinions may not match yours or your political party's. Even if i didn't vote for him i am awed by our progress. And thats not to say that we don't have further to go. But all problems do not brake down to a race issue. If thats all you can see then you won't rise to the true issue or challange at hand.

: Thanks Xathrus. I am African-American, too and I am disturbed by the assumption that all of us fall for the lies of the liberals and the Democratics.

Why are people bothered about Justice Thomas's reticense? This is th onle time we have heard the Supreme Court on
audio. Is it possible that some of these very human justices were posing for the tape recorder?

Maybe Thomas is just an honest man who refuses to pose and posture for rhetorical points because he does his readings
and keeps an open mind and has a willingness to listen to the people seeking justice.

Do we all really believe all these interruptions and questions from the justices were in pursuit of information or seeking clarification? Isn't it clear that many were to unsettle the advocates, telegraph their leanings to their ideological camps and clever public cover?

Isn't it obvious that throughout the criminal justice system judges do more listening and thinking? Why should it be different in our highest court?

There appear to be only two blacks posting on that thread; bot support Thomas.
I think the Democrats are going to have problems; the drugs are wearing off.
