I agree and Bears seem to be reluctent to hold shorts into JAN. I sold my BKX at a loss today, had to have to ofset some gains anyway. will REPOOT IN 30 days when the enviroment is better.

Seriously though, isn't the Jan effect due to new moneys being available after Jan 1st?

And this little rise in the market, is due to the anticipation of a Jan effect?
