K., et.al.: Oh I don't think there's any escaping the trend-line in things. Indeed, according to archeologists we can puff out our chests with pride. Current extinction rates have surpassed all historical records. And it's being instigated by us. Ever seen a spiders web first thing in the morning when it's all covered in a sprinkling of dew and radiating the sun? 'Tis a thing of beauty. Ever seen what that web looks like when you plunk a stone through it?

Where the web of life is concerned we're all, each and every one, the stone. Or perhaps the more apt metaphor is we're all certainly very busy kicking the environmental legs out from under this Earthly stool we're standing on. And it's a looong way down. Anyway, it's all enough for me to pull a Shootie and look for a drink. Now....where's that 5th of Jack Daniels and my ever faithful straw when you need them? Heh!

But on a more thread focused thought.....anyone read Sun Tzu's "The Art of War?"
