No one I know thinks we could have a seriously deep recession, I don't even think I believe it could happen, it's more that I make myself consider the possibility.

Well, you think the DOW and Naz are going much lower than they are now, right?

Say the Naz drops below 1500 and the DOW below 8000. Can you make a case for there NOT being a recession if this happens?

The market has got so big that its collapse will cause the recession itself. It seems to me this is just the nature of things when bubbles implode and the easy money that drove growth is gone.
