F5 NETWORKS (NASD: FFIV )-" Networks, which had held up relatively well compared to the rest of the market this year until last week, should have a fairly decent year next year, well, the profitable one's at least; and there is clearly no networker at such a discount to the sector as F5 Networks. This is not so much a turnaround story in terms of earnings disappointments as it is in terms of it got priced too high too quickly. Now FFIV has gone from a $150 powerhouse to scraping paint at 14$. Consistently meeting expectations and with a forward multiple of 8.9 (remember this is a networker!) this is crying to be bought. Business is strong and shows no sign of slowing. I think this is the year FFIV matures into a strong networker."..................SANDISK (NASD: SNDK )- What on earth was Merrill thinking downgrading SanDisk. You can't beat this powerhouse in flash memory. Trading at a new low I can't resist SanDisk at only 14 times earnings. SanDisk is still growing revenues at nearly 30-33%, which seems darn good in my eyes for a battered market. It's all about the flash."
