Seven Eleven. They don't even have them in Mexico.

Maybe not under the 7/11 name but they do claim equity in 270 7/11-like stores in Mexico.

I think the comparison will make more sense when they're standing in line to buy a dozen Original Glazed at the Mexico City, Tokyo, Peking, or Moscow Krispy Kreme.

But again, how long until that happens? Three years? Ten years? Twenty?

Meanwhile, KK will finally open a store within halfway decent driving distance of my home early next year, a distance of 7 miles per Mapquest. Yet, there will still be 32 7-11 stores and no fewer than 40, mostly mom-and-pop, donut stores closer to me than that KK. Sure, I might go there for the novelty of it all, but as a regular thing no way! Especially not with all the weight I need to lose <g>.
