Nokia To Supply GPRS Core Network to China Mobile Communications Corporation Business Wire - December 29, 2000 04:35 HELSINKI, Finland--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 29, 2000--Nokia has signed an agreement with China Mobile Communications Corporation (CMCC) to supply GPRS Core network infrastructure for four provincial networks. Beijing Nokia HangXing Telecommunications Systems Co., Ltd., one of Nokia's Joint Ventures in China will be responsible for overall implementation and the whole system is targetted to be operational at the beginning of next year. "Nokia is very pleased to co-operate with CMCC again to build GPRS networks which will help drive the growth of China Mobile Data business development.
