EMC and SUNW have been around for ages (not exactly new leaders) IMO there are not leaders at all, or if they are, they will cease to be along with MSFT ORCL CSCO and INTC.

I would be thinking along the lines of BRCD RMBS QCOM AVNX ELON (a ways off I think on this one, perhaps 2 years) WIND EMLX CERT (looking ahead 2 years again) etc etc

At what price are they a buy is the question?
A lot lower IMO. Next year will be hell, especially FEB if Greenspan does not cut rates in JAN, and I do not think he will.

I wouldn't touch SUNW until the picture is clearer in the computer sector. INSP I don't follow. EMC is old leader and will continue to do well. CIEN, I would wait to see how they handle next qr., but QCOM is happening now. IMHO.
