VIX not falling... anyway, traders will mark it down on the bell if they're short the stuff... oh, yea, also... the index is measured using a model assuming start of trading this morning... traders know that as we get close to the bell we're actually getting closer to TUESDAY... several days of premium decay. VIX doens't take that into account, and since it's mostly a near term measure it screws it up.

i'm worried too, but it isn't really falling all that much. still above 30. with the OEX lacking in volatility for 5 days in a row now. check the OEX intra-day range...that's worth a 30 VIX? not normally, it isn't.
