From what I read, the RE mkt is softening in Sil Valley/ San Fran area. Not crashing by any means- just topping out and a bit less insane than before. Elsewhere across the country, re is actually stagnant or going down. midwest for example did not really catch the tech boom and their re prices did not take off. now they're down and with auto and manuf slowdown that will likely continue.
