Re: "Notice several demonstrations for Jan 20th in DC....but you know, the ones I have seen on internet are all quite liberal in nature...and nary a one for the conservative side."

Most of the demonstrations between Nov. 7 and when the U.S. Supreme Court handed the election to GWB were conservative in nature. Repubs were more vocal than Dems during that time period. There were a couple right-wing rallies organized here in Cincinnati by a local right-wing radio talk-show host. Suspect similar happened in other cities.

Re: "Those so called "impromptu" demonstrations are usually put together well in advance."

I agree. The majority of public demonstrations are indeed well-organized. I don't believe there is such an animal as an "impromptu demonstration."

Re: "Is that because all the conservatives work for a living ..."

Actually, I would argue just the opposite. More liberals than conservatives work for a living. Certainly is true on this board.
