Well Greg today we learn that QCOM at a PE of 88 is a far far better short than RIMM at a PE of 1500, earnings dropping from 5 cents last year to 2-3 cents next year. As for a 2 year recession, I highly doubt that, but certainly would not bet my life on it. It should all be over by Nov at the very latest. M

Greg, First and foremost happy New Year to you and all! Just came back from a field trip and party which started right after I posted the infamous "coming ... two years" message. Sorry for causing you such a strong physiological response. At least I did not intend to. Hope you're joking. I have to say that I'm neither bear nor bull. But I'm serious about my money. I try hard to sense temporal patterns of the market movement from short- to long term. All in all, trying to be objective. I believe my posts in this bull's thread are much less toxic than Mike's <g>. W
